Nano Indentation Core Lab

Nanoindentation is an advanced technique used in materials science to study the mechanical properties of materials at the nanoscale. It involves precisely pressing a very sharp, minuscule tip (an indenter) into a material's surface, often to measure properties like hardness and elastic modulus as a function of depth. By precisely positioning the indentation relative to these features, researchers can better understand a material's strengthening and deformation mechanisms at the nanometer length scale.
