Expert in: Wolf Biology
Vucetich helps run the world’s longest running predator-prey study, an annual survey of wolves, moose and ecology done in the Isle Royale National Park every winter. As the wolf population dwindles on the island, he pushes citizens to consider their own links to iconic species and landscapes. Being both an ecologist and environmental ethicist, Vucetich says the most important part of his work is understanding human connection to nature. Vucetich has written op-eds in the New York Times and Huffington Post.
