Auditing a Course

Students may audit a course to re-familiarize themselves with the course subjects and material. Students auditing courses will be charged the same tuition as full credit courses. The instructor of the auditing course will determine the amount of work during the course audit.

To audit a course currently enrolled in, students must get approval from the course instructor within the first six weeks of the semester. If a student would like to audit a course at a later date, they must get approval from the department of the student’s major.

To audit a course, a student must complete the Grading Option form and return it to the Registrar's Office.

Auditing a course is uniquely different from a degree audit, minor audit, or a certificate audit. These documents are also available through the Registrar's Office.
