First-Year Engineering Support

First-Year Engineering Learning Center (FYELC)

The First-Year Engineering Learning Center provides assistance (Dillman 208) with day-to-day course homework and concepts in ENG1001, ENG1002, ENG1100, ENG1101, and ENG1102. The center is staffed by knowledgeable coaches. Outside of the Learning Center’s hours, Dillman 208 is available to engineering students for computer lab use and to engineering classes scheduled between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Design Center

The Design Center offers lab areas dedicated to wet construction/testing and general construction/testing, where students have access to basic tools and workbenches. The center’s meeting space, equipped with five computer workstations and a printer, is large enough to accommodate student teams.
