Support for Breastfeeding Mothers
We are committed to supporting mothers who choose to continue breastfeeding after returning to work or classes. There are currently eight dedicated, sanitary Lactation Spaces on campus where mothers can go to pump breast milk.
All lactation spaces are available for use by faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
Setting up a Lactation Space
If your department intends to set up and maintain a lactation space on campus or in a Michigan Tech area, please contact WorkLife at 906.487.1809. If your department intends to set up a space temporarily, please review these Temporary Lactation Space Guidelines.
