Michigan Tech faculty, staff and students utilize Duo’s Two-Step Login when accessing Banweb or the VPN. This additional layer of security will protect your account and personal information from being accessed if your password is lost or stolen. Two-Step Login will be added to additional services as we evaluate our ability for integration.
How it works
- Login with your Michigan Tech account name and password.
- Duo confirms your identity by using a phone, tablet, USB key, or PIN generator.
For your convenience, your confirmation can be remembered for up to 30 days.
Getting started
Please visit the Two-Step Registration page to register your devices.
We recommend registering multiple devices in case your primary device is lost, stolen, or broken. Faculty and staff are encouraged to register their office phone as a second device if they have one.
