First-year, non-transfer students must live on campus at Michigan Tech and will not commute. However, if you plan to bring a vehicle with you and have it parked while you are staying in Michigan Tech Housing, you will still need to review the vehicle registration guidelines.
Vehicle Registration
Vehicle registration for students is managed by Public Safety and Police Services. If you plan to have your car parked anywhere on campus at any time, commuting or not, you should register your vehicle.
