The Tech Express ID Card is your official Michigan Tech photo identification. It will be used for parking and building access, your meal plan, and as your Express Cash debit card. You should submit a picture to be used for your ID card online at www.techexpress.mtu.edu. If you submit a photo of yourself rather than waiting until you get to campus to have it taken, you'll be sure to have one you like. Guidelines for pictures can be found online, and all pictures must be submitted by August 13. Your card will then be ready for you to pick up during Orientation. If you are unable to submit a photo online, you will be able to have your photo taken during Orientation at the Tech Express Service Center, located in the Campus Bookstore in the Memorial Union Building.
Your Tech Express ID Card is very valuable, and there is a fee to replace lost or damaged cards. Keep your ID with you and keep it safe. Protective sheaths and lanyard holders are helpful and are available at the Campus Bookstore. Please report the loss or theft of your Tech Express ID Card immediately. All Tech Express ID Card services can be completed at the Tech Express Service Center. Complete cardholder information is available online at www.techexpress.mtu.edu.
