This fall you will begin your career at Michigan Technological University, and it all starts with Orientation. Orientation is a weeklong program that will provide you with all of the necessary information about being a successful student at Michigan Tech and getting the most out of your college experience. It will also create many opportunities for you to meet other students, meet your advisor, explore your interests, and make decisions about your future.
Orientation will ease your transition to Michigan Tech and may even inspire you to become a leader on campus, get involved in a research project or student organization, stay healthy, excel academically, and of course, take advantage of the opportunities you will have here at Tech.
Mark your calendars because Orientation 2013 will begin with New-Student Check-in on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2013. Orientation will take place starting on August 26 and will lead into the start of the Fall 2013 semester. Attendance at Orientation is required for all incoming students.
