When you make a gift of $1,000 or more to the chemistry program, you will be invited to peruse the department's Elements of Success Periodic Table and select an available element plaque to be inscribed with your name.
Chemistry Learning Center (CLC)
Your support goes a long way in advancing students' academic success. Students who regularly attend appointments or actively participate in the Chemistry Learning Center typically earn one-half to one full grade higher than students who don't. Your gift could make the difference of a student's eureka moment in chemistry.
Undergraduate Research
Gifts support undergraduate student research. Our undergraduate students work in faculty labs, gaining valuable hands-on experience that translates to technical lab skills. All department faculty provide opportunities for undergraduate research and encourage the members of their research teams to take an active role in handling instruments and operating research-grade equipment in the lab.
Graduate Research
Our graduate students are at the forefront of research in multiple areas of chemistry; from biochemistry to chemical synthesis, they are pushing boundaries and making new discoveries in each of our research groups. Gifts support graduate student research, travel, and professional development activities.

Elements of Success Fund
The Elements of Success fund is used to enhance the success of the chemistry department. Educational and research activities are supported, along with other departmental priorities.
An element on the Elements of Success Periodic Table is awarded to donors who designate a gift of $1,000 or more to any of the chemistry department's funds.
