Michigan Tech’s Presidential Council of Alumnae (PCA) will be on campus September 21 and 22 to both participate in their annual meeting and to interact with current faculty, staff and students.

Members of the PCA are graduates of Michigan Tech who have been recognized for personal and professional achievements in all facets of life, including education and career excellence and community involvement and volunteerism as a Michigan Tech student or alumna. They meet annually on campus to participate in activities that support the University’s strategic plan and specifically focus on engaging the campus community to educate, influence, and inspire the Women of Michigan Tech.

This year PCA is partnering with Career Services to conduct two events to promote and enhance student career success. All students will be invited to join them for lunch and a “lightning talks” program on Thursday and a breakfast with keynote speaker Brenda Ryan (who is both a member of the PCA and the Michigan Tech Board of Trustees). Following the keynote, PCA members will hold roundtable discussions to address student’s questions and needs as they prepare for and seek out career opportunities such as internships, co-ops and full-time professional positions.

About 40 to 50 members will be on campus to participate in the two-day schedule of activities. For more information about PCA, go to mtu.edu/alumni/recognition/pca.
