Math and Other Course Placement Tests
Course Placement tests (required for all First-Year Students) may be taken online before your arrival. Please go to the COMPASS Tech Guide for details and instructions. A test is available during Orientation ONLY for students who registered late or who have no other course placement.
ESL Placement Test
At the beginning of the semester, students take a placement test and are placed in the appropriate level of courses. The placement test includes listening comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension. A short interview is conducted to test speaking fluency.
