Daniell Heights Living Guide
Policies
Personal Property
Certain items are not permitted in Daniell Heights without prior approval. In some cases, approval may require you to register the item with Housing and Residential Life, such as large instruments and bulky items of furniture. Some appliances place serious burdens on utility services and are prohibited such as extra refrigerators, freezers over 12.5 cubic feet, and air conditioners. You may purchase your own A/C unit according to our specifications and our facilities staff will install it for a fee and an additional monthly electric bill. Please contact Housing and Residential Life, 153 Wadsworth Hall for more information.
Commercial Activity
Business activity is not permitted in the apartments. All residents or outside agencies are strictly prohibited from using the apartments, University-owned buildings, or grounds for any commercial purposes.
In order to protect residents’ right to privacy and their need for undisturbed study, door-to-door solicitation or recruitment of any type is prohibited without prior permission from Housing and Residential Life. Please report all violations of commercial activity to your community assistant or Housing and Residential Life, 153 Wadsworth Hall.
