Daniell Heights Living Guide

All Daniell Heights Apartments are furnished with a sofa, an end table, dining table, and chairs, stove, refrigerator, bed, dresser, and desk.

The Air Conditioner (A/C) program for residents is as follows:

Air Conditioning units cannot be installed in the 1800 and 1900 blocks of Daniell Heights due to the narrow shape of the windows.
The residents must fill out an A/C application request and information sheet and have it approved before purchasing your A/C.
The A/C unit must be purchased by the resident and must be a 110-volt unit that is not larger than 12,000 BTUs.
An A/C cover to fit the unit must be purchased at the time the A/C unit is purchased and installed at the end of the A/C season. Failure to install the cover will result in additional heat loss charges assessed to the resident. Inaccessible second floor windows will have the covers installed by maintenance upon request.
Only Daniell Heights maintenance personnel are authorized to install and remove the A/C unit. The cost of this service is a one time charge of $35.00
In order to pay for the additional electrical use for operating the A/C unit a $125.00 seasonal charge base upon a rate of $25.00 per month for 5 months (May-September) will be assessed.
Requests to have the A/C removed must be made to the office at least 10 workdays prior to the date removal is desired. Requests for emergency removal (if possible) will result in a special charge of $10.00
If while the A/C is on, windows are left open or if the apartment heat is left on, a $10.00 energy wasting surcharge will be assessed for every violation.
