Residence Hall Housing
- Any new (first time, first year) undergraduate student or transfer student must complete the housing application online through the yellow "HuskyHouse" button on the Housing website.
- Current, returning students who wish to live in the residence halls should fill out the Residence Hall Waitlist below or through the yellow "HuskyHouse" button on the Housing website.
- Graduate students are encouraged to fill out the Daniell Heights waitlist below, as well as explore off-campus housing. A list of off-campus housing resources is available by emailing housing@mtu.edu with your request.

| First-Year Contract Waiver | Information to apply for waiver. |
| Contract Release Request | Students may request to break their housing (room and/or meal plan) contract if a significant change has occurred since the time the contract was signed in a medical, financial, or extenuating circumstance. |
| Merit Waiver Request |
Current students with merit scholarships requiring them to live on campus for two years can use this form to request a waiver from the second year of the requirement. Use this form if you have not yet signed a contract to live in the residence hall for the second year. If you have already signed a contract for the second year, use the Contract Release Request instead. If your request relates to a physical, psychological, or medical condition, please contact Student Disability Services (SDS) to request an accommodation rather than submitting a waiver request. To preserve equity and confidentiality, requests of this nature must be approved by SDS. |
