To better facilitate patron access to library and interlibrary loan items, the Van Pelt and Opie library offers a proxy service for all patrons with a current library account.
A library proxy may borrow and renew library and interlibrary loan items on behalf of an authorizing patron.
Authorizing patrons may designate any patron with a current library account as their proxy. All borrowing activity and communication occurs in the authorizing patron’s library and interlibrary loan accounts.
