With respect to the items reminiscing about Jon Davis and the Library Bar, one of my memories of Jon was his involvement in the then annual road rally events held each spring. Myself and a friend participated in several of those races the last couple of years I was at school. Attached is a photo taken after one such event in May 1970 (I think we took 2nd place) with me and my 1968 AMC Javelin.

John: The Pro Rally has now moved to the fall, October or November, and is still billed as the “meanest, toughest, oldest rally.” The Press on Regardless name has disappeared, however.
