Help Kids Learn that Math is Cool!

What if we told you that you could change a child’s aptitude for math and science—without leaving your computer?

Michigan Tech’s Center for Pre-College Outreach is using the crowdfunding site Superior Ideas to fund its annual Youth STEM Series Math ‘Tivitz” Tournament. It’s an event that allows elementary- and middle-school-aged students to visit campus for an exciting, hands-on math competition. Before and after conversations with participants prove that the event gets big results. Students say that math seems “cooler” and “more fun.”

Help a child discover his or her love of math and science—it only takes a few dollars, and the effect you’ll have on the lives of students is invaluable.
