Alumni and friends reconnected at the 53rd annual Great Lakes Invitational hockey tournament January 1 and 2 in the 1701 Pub in the new Little Caesars Arena. The Michigan Tech and Red Wings hockey jersey raffles were won by Cynthia Rockwell, a Tech grandmother, and Nathan Prangley, a current Forestry student. The raffle earned $1,985 for the Detroit alumni chapter scholarship.
