The MTU Vets Club of 1968-1974 gathered for a reunion in the Copper Country the weekend of July 23rd. Thirty veterans, spouses, children, and grandchildren gathered for a few days of reminiscing and fun. Some highlights include a spirited open house on Friday, a behind the scenes tour of the Quincy Smelter on Saturday followed by a visit to the updated Memorial Wall in the Memorial Union Building where the group was joined by Jeff Brookins, president of the student veterans organization and Brenda Rudiger, assistant vice president for alumni engagement, and a dinner on Saturday evening featuring mini pasties.
