Pete Cattelino, associate director of strategic industry partnerships, retired from Michigan Technological University on July 27. Cattelino is a 1974 Michigan Tech forestry graduate and has been a Husky for nearly his entire career. In 2003 he spearheaded Tech’s largest STEM education event series, YES Expo in Detroit’s Ford Field attended by hundreds of corporate sponsors and more than 20,000 young people. In his current position, he has been liaison for the University and its largest industry partners including General Motors, Ford, and FCA.
