One group of women that I did not see mentioned were the nurses. I am a 1976 graduate of MTU, one of approximately 258 who graduated between 1975 and 1980 from the program (according to the MTU Archives).

I am grateful for my education and time at MTU. Had Michigan Tech not taken on this program, I doubt I would have been able to become a nurse. Forty years later, I am still active in my profession and just completed a masters in bioethics.

Thank you MTU for a great start and great memories.  Today, my daughter works at MTU and is enjoying the incredible life that the U.P. has to offer.
