Rozsa Center
The Rozsa Center rocks the night away as the world-famous Hampton String Quartet performs Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, and more. Playing classically-influenced arrangements of well known rock songs, HSQ—the world’s largest selling string quartet—has collaborated with Michael Jackson, Sting, Elton John, and Robert Plant. The Hampton String Quartet will also be the featured guest artist for the 2nd Annual Keweenaw Honors String Festival, hosted by the KSO. The concert begins with the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra performing the closest thing to rock & roll music in the classical realm: the Mars and Uranus movements from Holst’s “The Planets.”
