Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra
The Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 40th anniversary season with a concert of light classical favorites during Winter Carnival. These include selections from Beethoven's cosmic Fifth Symphony; Elgar's Enigma Variations; Ravel's impressionistic Pavane for a Dead Princess; and the gypsy-inspired folk music of Enescu's Romanian Rhapsody No. 1. A surprise piece will end the concert.
