Michigan Tech music faculty will be performing the music of Massenet, Scarlatti, Schubert and a few jazz standards.
This recital will feature Joel Neves, trumpet, and Lara Neves, soprano, performing Mio Tesoro per te moro by Alessandro Scarlatti, accompanied by Jared Anderson. Laura Neves will also perform Shepherd on the Rock by Franz Schubert with violinist, Libby Meyer. Mike Irish, professor of Jazz Studies, will perform a set of jazz standards, including one of his own compositions, Mick's Bone Blues. Also on the program will be Massenet's Mediation from Thais for violin and piano.
