Hi Dennis,
Yesterday, I made a presentation at an environmental engineering graduate seminar. In my introduction, I always insist that they mention my undergraduate degree is from MTU. Following my presentation, a student came up and announced he also is a MTU graduate. Small world! He and I both shared an uncommon Tech experience as I came to MTU from Panama, while he came from Saudi Arabia. Obviously snow was a major adjustment for us.

I graduated BSCE ’62, while Nawaf Blaisi received both his BS (2009)and MS (2011) degrees in Environmental Engineering. His Master degree advisor at MTU was Dr. Christopher Wojick. He currently is studying towards his PhD here at UF, while, I’m an Emeritus Civil Engineering Professor.
