About Darnisha

  • The active alumna has served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2008 and is the second woman and first African American to serve as board president. She also serves on the boards of the Keweenaw Alumni Chapter, Lighthouse Faith Center, and is a 2014 inductee into the Michigan Tech Presidential Council of Alumnae.
  • The South Range resident enjoys quality time with family and friends. Her favorite pastime is watching a good comedy and she’s always up for an impromptu road trip.
