As required by law, income tax, social security (FICA), and other mandatory items (such as wage garnishment for child support) are withheld from each paycheck. With your authorization, deductions will be made for optional items such as group life insurance, group health programs, retirement, and long term disability.

mandatory items (such as wage garnishment for child support) are ....". The second
sentence read "With your written approval, .... retirement, long term disability,
United Way, and credit union." now reads "With your authorization, .... retirement,
and long term disability."
