Resources for Faculty and Staff

Find your way quickly with these most frequently used resources. Together, the Center for Diversity and Inclusion and Michigan Tech’s faculty and staff can use these resources to promote a more inclusive campus environment for all.

Cultural Competency Training

Increase your knowledge, awareness, and skills surrounding issues of culture, diversity, communication, and conflict management.

Diversity Programs Request Form

The Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) offers several diversity programs that faculty and staff can request. These programs promote diversity and inclusion awareness and critical thinking.

Lactation Room

The Hamar House (Building 13) is home to one of Michigan Tech’s three lactation rooms. Nursing mothers are welcome to use the space for a private space to breastfeed or use a breast pump.

Lending Library

CDI has a lending library with books, movies, and games that may be checked out. Materials cover all aspects of diversity and inclusion and are perfect for classroom use.

Safe Place

Provide a visible support network for GLBTQ students by participating in training sessions for faculty and staff and displaying a sticker of training completion.
