Women's Fitness Courses

The Love Your Body Action Team of the Women’s Leadership Council is a committee that works to promote women’s health education and initiatives—and a positive body image for female students at Michigan Tech.

Fitness Courses—Just for Women

During each track of the fall, spring, and summer terms, the Love Your Body Action Team collaborates with the Michigan Tech Athletics and Recreation Department to offer women-only fitness courses at a discounted rate for currently enrolled students. Past offerings have included

  • Kickboxing,
  • Yoga (at many different levels),
  • Step Aerobics,
  • Strength and Cardio Mix
  • Zumba, and
  • Ultimate Conditioning.
