Paul Masini was born and raised in Hancock and earned a B.S. in both Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Michigan Tech in 1969. He also received a MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1975.
After graduation from Michigan Tech he joined Giddings & Lewis Machine Tool Company where he held various sales and manufacturing positions. Masini joined Mercury Marine in 1973 and has held several positions, including Vice President of Distribution, Vice President of Quicksilver Parts & Accessories, and currently, Vice President and General Manager of the Mercury Marine Propeller Company. He is responsible for worldwide engineering, sales, and manufacturing of propellers.
He is a member of the Michigan Tech Presidents Club, the Academy of Business & Engineering Administration, and the School of Business and Engineering Administration National Advisory Board. He has also served on the Michigan Tech Alumni Association's Gold Carpet Network for recruiting students and is a Certified Fellow of the American Production & Inventory Control Society.
