- BS Electrical Engineering 1966
A 1966 graduate with a BS in Electrical Engineering and four varsity football letters, Dennis Euers co-captained the 1965 NIC championship team. He was also president of the Varsity Club and Kappa Delta Psi fraternity while at Michigan Tech.
As an alumnus, he has spearheaded the 2003 fundraising effort to support the football program. He is a Life Trustee of the Michigan Tech Fund Board of Trustees and served on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association, including two years as president. He is a member of the Electrical Engineering Academy and was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.
In 1988, he established the Dennis Euers Endowed Wisconsin Football Scholarship and with his wife established an endowed scholarship for women athletes. He has been a member of the Huskies Club since 1979 and an honorary coach of the Huskies Club since 1983. He also serves on the Football Advisory Council.
Professionally, he spent 34 years with Johnson Controls and Johnson Yokogawa Corporation, taking early retirement in 2000. He now is the Strategic Business Manager for Wunderlich--Malec Engineering, Inc., in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2003, Euers received the Outstanding Service Award.
