If your student organization has an idea that promotes student involvement on campus, the Michigan Tech Alumni Association can help!
The Michigan Tech Alumni Association’s Student Initiative Sponsorship Program is designed to promote student involvement on campus. The program is geared towards registered student groups, clubs, or societies, who are looking to make a positive difference on campus. Successful applicants could receive up to $1,500 in support of their initiative.
While fair consideration will be given to all requests, preference will be given to inclusive events that will positively impact all students and support the Alumni Association’s mission: “Celebrating Traditions. Creating Connections.”
The fine print:
The amount of funding provided by the Michigan Tech Alumni Association may be the lesser of the actual amount requested to a maximum of $1,500. In the case of recurring or annual events or projects, funding for the current year does not guarantee ongoing support in future years.
Complete the funding application, and submit to the Office of Alumni Relations by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, by fax to: 906-487-3171, or deliver to the Alumni House on campus. All requests for funding must be made using the attached form 60 days prior to needed funding whenever possible.
