The Academy of Science and Arts gives public recognition to those alumni and alumnae who have brought distinction to themselves, the College of Sciences and Arts, and Michigan Technological University through their outstanding contributions to and leadership in their chosen professions, and/or through distinguished public service.
Academy of Geological and Mining Engineering and Sciences
The Department of Geological and Mining Engineering and Sciences has held academy induction ceremonies for geology, geological engineering, mining engineering, and applied geophysics alumni. The academy honors graduates based on their contributions and achievements in their disciplines.
