Deciding where to go to college is a huge decision. We want to help make your choice easier! Join us for Open House and spend the entire day on campus, learning why Michigan Tech is the right choice for you.

Check-in Times (available on Thursday or Friday)

Check in at the lobby of the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts (Building 10) to receive your itinerary, which includes meeting times and locations. All visitors must check in prior to taking a campus tour.

    • Optional campus tours will be offered on Thursday afternoon at 2:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. ET.

  • Academic Showcase: Learn more about undergraduate degree options and minors as you talk with representatives from academic departments.
  • Student Resource Showcase: Get details from staff about key resources on campus designed to enhance and support your time at Tech.
  • Residence Hall Tours: Explore two of our residence halls to get a feel for college living.
  • Lunch: Enjoy a complimentary lunch in a dining hall.

Informational Sessions

1:30–2:15 p.m. ET
Choose your own adventure by picking an informational session to attend. Your options include: Residence Education and Housing Services, Pavlis Honors College, Career Services, First-Year Engineering, and Husky Transfers.

Department Visits

2:15–3:30 p.m. ET
Visit academic departments and get more information from faculty and staff.

Local area lodging fills quickly during peak visit times, so plan ahead and make your reservations early.

Parking Information

Due to construction of our new residence hall, parking near event check-in at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts is limited. Parking attendants will be available to assist guests and reduce traffic congestion. Free parking is available in Lot 8 on the north side of the Rozsa Center, parallel parking along Cliff Drive (one way traffic only), and in Lot 27 on the west side of campus near US Highway 41.
