Spring Commencement Volunteers Needed

The Commencement Team is seeking volunteers for the Spring Commencement ceremony. We need volunteers to help with pre-ceremony setup, to serve as greeters and ushers, to coordinate graduate check-in, and to assist guests with special seating accommodations. More information regarding the ceremonies may be found on the Commencement website.

FIRST Robotics Competition Volunteering - Escanaba, MI

Are you a FIRST Robotics Alumni who wants to stay involved with FRC competitions? Copper Country Robotics at Michigan Tech is inviting people to volunteer with the organization at Escanaba, MI, one of the Upper Peninsula FRC events hosted yearly! Escanaba, MI is a Saturday/Sunday event hosted from March 7th to March 9th. We will be travelling down to Escanaba on March 7th and heading back after the competition ends on March 9th. Copper Country Robotics members have previously made up a large majority of the volunteer staff in the past, serving in roles such as FTAA, Referee, Field Reset, and Queuer (among others). To qualify to attend with the club, you must complete all of the following steps: 1. You must attend a Copper Country Robotics General Meeting (or be an already active CCR member), which can be found on our Involvement Link page. If you cannot attend any of these meetings, you must email ccr-contact@mtu.edu to schedule a meeting with one of the members from our Executive Board 2. Hockey vs Bowling Green Pregame Social + Playoff Game

Join volunteer alumni host Andrew Londo '92 for a pregame social and then cheer on the Huskies as they face off against Bowling Green on Saturday, March 8, in the first round of CCHA Playoffs. The pregame social will be held at Fricker's Bowling Green, located at 1720 E. Wooster St. Bowling Green, OH 43402, from 4:30-7 p.m. ET. Food and beverages will be available for individual purchase. Admission to the pregame social is free, but please RSVP to ensure we have an accurate headcount. Following the pregame social, head over to the BGSU Slater Family Ice Arena for the puck drop at 7:07 p.m. Hockey game tickets must be purchased separately.
