My favorite memories involve serving others on campus with hot cocoa. It all started when I was involved in a flash mob that decided to obnoxiously cheer at a broomball game. That didn't go well but I did go say hi to to my friends who were working in the IRHC cocoa shack. Before I knew it I was inside the shack serving up cups with a smile and my special stir.
My other memory is of helping out with the annual cookie outreach with Campus Crusade for Christ. It's amazing to see people light up as they realize that you came to give them cookies while they are working on statue. I really loved hearing people say that our bring cookies and cocoa to them were the highlight of their winter carnival season every year.
