The Republic of Panama is home to one of the seven wonders of the modern world, the Panama Canal. It is also known for its immense biodiversity, lengthy coastlines running along both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and the robust tropical rainforests, mountain ranges and rivers in the interior. Panama's capital, Panama City, is one of the most bustling and international cities in Latin American, characterized by its spectacular skyline overlooking Patilla Bay on the Pacific coast.
