This program is offered through the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC). The USAC office and classes are held at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) where students are introduced to the rich historical, cultural and archeological values of Mexico. Puebla is one of Mexico’s oldest cities from the Spanish colonial era, filled with 17th- and 18th-century European architecture and art. It has 3 major archaeological sites in its region including Teneapa Pyramid, one of the largest pre-Columbian structures in the Americas, and it has been the center of political and social movements for hundreds of years. This rich history makes it an excellent location for Sociological and Latin American Studies.
