This program is offered through the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC). The Hiroshima University Studies Abroad (HUSA) Program has partnerships with universities all over the world, of which USAC is one. Hiroshima University offers the academic program for the HUSA students, including the Japanese language courses. Local staff arrange dormitory housing so that students may stay in Hiroshima economically. In order to enrich your studies, the HUSA Program staff also arranges visits to local town festivals, historical sites and short homestay programs.
Hiroshima faces the tranquil Seto Inland Sea in an environment richly endowed with natural beauty. The northern part of the city is mountainous, offering recreation opportunities in water sports in the summer and snow sports in the winter. Hiroshima City is an energetic and thriving metropolis with excellent shopping, movie theatres, restaurants and cultural activities.
