Faculty Led Study Abroad Scholarship (FLSAS)

The Faculty Led Study Abroad Scholarship (FLSAS) is open to students participating in a Michigan Tech faculty-led study abroad program. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must apply to their faculty-led study abroad program by February 1.

Applicants are asked to demonstrate evidence of being an international leader in campus internationalization activities.

Recipients of the FLSAS will be required to support the recruitment of future faculty-led study abroad students by attending a minimum of two on-campus recruitment events. This requirement must be fulfilled within 12 months of the recipient’s study abroad experience.

The scholarship amount is $500 and is intended to be used towards costs associated with the faculty-led study abroad program.
