The Michigan Tech Annual Fund is dedicated to securing crucial, unrestricted contributions that benefit the University in a number of ways. Annual Fund support may be directed to the University’s main unrestricted account or they may be directed to a particular academic department, as each department has its own unrestricted account.

Tax Advantages
Gifts to Michigan Tech are fully deductible on your federal tax return if you itemize (subject to limitations based on percentage of taxable income). In addition, through the Public Contributions Credit, Michigan residents can receive a tax credit on their contributions of up to 50 percent of the total gift amount. The maximum credit is $200 for a joint return and $100 for a single return.
