The Office for the Vice President of Student Affairs and the Dean of Students has a number of departments, staff members, and programs. We value collaboration and partnership, making connections and finding allies, and are committed to developing and getting resources to help support students and their needs on campus.

Academic and Community Conduct

The Office of Academic and Community Conduct resolves issues in an atmosphere of honesty and trust with integrity in the process. We ensure academic integrity is being upheld in the University community.

Career Services

Michigan Tech Career Services connects students, employers, alumni, faculty, and staff. We help students communicate the unique skills sets they have developed both in and outside the classroom. Our collaborative programming and coaching launches and supports career journeys.

Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI)

We foster student success through counseling and referral services that enhance retention and graduation outcomes. We invite the Michigan Tech community to explore a deeper understanding and appreciation for diversity, equity, inclusion, and sense of belonging.


Counseling Services

The Counseling Services provides a wide array of resources for students to ensure mental and physical well-being. We aim to provide support to help our Huskies achieve their full academic and personal potential.

Dean of Students

The Dean of Students Office is a resource center for all Michigan Tech students. Our goal is to guide, support, and, on occasion, challenge students in their academic and personal endeavors. Student success is at the heart of our work.

International Programs and Services

International Programs and Services (IPS) serves international students and scholars from more than 60 countries who come to Michigan Tech to create the future.  We provide holistic support through advising on immigration, personal and cultural matters, and by organizing events and activities to support students' engagement and development within the campus community.

Residence Education and Housing Services

Residence Education and Housing Services is dedicated to inspire students to succeed by building a strong foundation of community throughout the resident halls and providing a safe and comfortable living experience.  All housing and apartment affairs are resolved through our staff.

Student Leadership and Involvement

Student Leadership and Involvement offers students fun and entertaining venues to help mold and create their Michigan Tech experience.  They are the catalyst to engage student involvement by providing opportunities for any student to stay active, from student organizations to Greek life and community service to leadership programs.

The Waino Wahtera Center for Student Success is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of Michigan Tech students by helping them to develop attitudes, values, and skills that enhance their academic and personal success.

Student Disability Services

Student Disability Services provides support and resources for students with or without a documented disability. Any student may meet with the Coordinator of Student Disability Services and discuss strategies for college success.
