Thank you for considering the Master of Science in Applied Science Education. This degree program meets the needs of in-service teachers who wish to develop their ability to teach science and mathematics using practical applications and student inquiry.

We offer two tracks for certified science and math teachers. The Applied Science and Mathematics track emphasizes the integration of science, math, and engineering concepts through hands-on learning and online science education courses. The Earth Systems Science track, for certified science teachers who wish to earn a teaching endorsement in Earth and Space Science, focuses on field courses and online courses in geology and atmospheric science.

The Peace Corps Master's International Program in Science Education is designed for those with a bachelor's degree in science or math who wish to become certified to teach—and serve as a Peace Corps volunteer.
