George Hommowun

Biography

George Hommowun, Production Manager, comes to the Rozsa Center and Michigan Tech campus with twenty-seven years of professional experience in the performing arts. His career includes 15 years as the Technical Coordinator and Assistant Technical Coordinator at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts in southwest Michigan, eight years as the Performing Arts Director for the Lowell Performing Arts Center, 10 years as a freelance lighting designer for the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, and four years as the Technical Director for Artisphere, a multicultural arts facility in Arlington, Virginia. A major portion of his first year of work at Michigan Tech was focused on merging the technical operations of the Rozsa Center with the needs of the Visual and Performing Arts Department.
