Payroll Update: Department Time Cards

Payroll Services is reorganizing our payroll processes, which will change some of the way you submit changes for department time cards. This reorganization process is intended to add time efficiency in running our payroll process and align submitting revised time sheets and reallocations with the normal process for those not on department time.

Starting with Biweekly 6 (March 6, 2022), Payroll will be eliminating the process of sending department time sheets weekly. Department timekeepers will be responsible for submitting time sheets and reallocations, along with signing any time sheets and reallocations.

You will need to submit paper time sheets if there is exception time to report or index overrides that need to be done. If paper time sheets are not submitted for index overrides that need to be done, a reallocation will then be needed to make the necessary corrections to the indexes (exception time: vacation, sick, personal, parental, holiday, seasonal and bereavement).

You will also need to submit a reallocation form for any reallocations that need to be processed.

Time sheets and reallocation forms can be found under the Payroll Services dropdown menu on the Human Resources Forms page.

To help put information at your fingertips, you can access your gross earnings reports and any other reports you may need by running these reports in Banner 8.
