On-Campus Jobs Expo

Career Services and Financial Aid are coordinating an On-Campus Jobs Expo on Sept. 1 from 12-3 p.m. in the Memorial Union Building Alumni Lounge.

Campus departments: Please fill out this form by Aug. 30 if you'd like to participate. We will announce participating campus departments prior to the expo, alerting students to the opportunity to meet with you at your own table.

You can also notify Career Services of the student positions you're hiring for and we will upload to Handshake any positions recorded in the form, affording students a single place where they can view and apply for these positions. You can fill out the form for each position you wish to announce.

On-campus jobs provide opportunities for Michigan Tech students. A part-time job offers income to students who need it and is an important co-curricular opportunity. As a co-curricular opportunity, on-campus work can lead to internships and co-ops, opening the door to full-time offers immediately after graduation. It can also help a student establish a strong foundation for research that leads to enhanced graduate school opportunities.

Please contact Career Services with questions at career@mtu.edu or 908-487-2313.

Reminders

Face Coverings Required Indoors on Campus

While Michigan Tech is at Health and Safety Level Two, face coverings must be worn indoors. This applies to all students, employees, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status.

In Level Two, students and employees are not required to monitor their symptoms daily prior to coming to campus. But, individuals should be mindful of their own symptoms. A useful monitoring tool is available from the CDC.

Michigan Tech strongly recommends that all employees and students receive the COVID-19 vaccine and continue with handwashing and hand-sanitizing practices, especially in light of the virulence of the COVID-19 delta variant.

During all Health and Safety Levels, no one with COVID-19 symptoms is allowed on campus.
