IPEC Discussion on Climate Policymaking by Sarah Green
As part of The Institute for Policy, Ethics, and Culture’s spring 2020 programming on “Designing the Anthropocene,” Sarah Green (Chem) will give a brown bag presentation on her experience leading an observer delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in 2019.
Students from Green’s seminar on "Climate Science and Policy" joined with classes at Colorado State and Clark University to prepare for the Conference of the Parties (COP) and form a delegation to Madrid for the annual COP this past December.
Green will offer her insights on working on environmental policy within the United Nations system and consider how Tech can best engage with the UNFCCC through our new observer status.
The brown bag will be held from noon to 1 p.m. March 3 in AOB 201. A light lunch and beverages will be provided.
