Celebrating Four Generations of Huskies

My children will both be graduating from Tech within the next year (daughter Alyssa in December and son Kealy in May), and I would like to recognize them for their accomplishments, as well as those of the rest of my family. Alyssa will be continuing at Tech for her graduate degree, and Kealy has accepted a job in Grand Rapids. Their graduation makes our children the fourth generation to graduate from Michigan Tech, with a diversity of degrees. We have a mining engineer (Michael Young ‘65 and Paul E. Young ‘31), geological engineer (Priscilla Young Schaffer ‘81), electrical engineer (David Young ‘90), mechanical engineering technology (Brett Smith ‘89), civil engineer (Alyssa Smith ‘14), medical technology (Leora Smith ‘89), and computer engineer/electrical engineer (Kealy Smith ‘15).
