Thanks, Kip. It was a hard article to write, especially with the death of a colleague sharing the column. We’ve just turned past that point where warm temperatures have a hope of coming back. There has been the bit of frost. The leaves haven’t seemed as bright this year, either. But there’s a beauty in all of that, too. –Kevin
